Seven years of regional intervention in the Yemeni war, what do we see before us?! More fires spread to reach new regional interests, which were not considered to have entered this critical stage of danger, as fire cannot be extinguished with fire. Seven years of listening to the sound of guns, the region has not become any safer, and it is almost ending the years of prosperity and stability created by the oil boom.

One does not need any Nirvana to see the effects of war on the people and on the infrastructure of the region, and all pretense of victory and conquest has become a form of gambling with the catastrophic consequences of more death and destruction. In Yemen, we heard the first explosions of coalition aircraft, and before that the uncalculated force of Ansar Allah (Houthis), and we are one people, and one country, then about how many peoples, countries and leaders can we talk today?

This war said it all in an attempt to gain territorial control of the country, but it did not provide a single evidence that it was being fought in favor of becoming a state like the rest of the world. and with it our resourceful eyes in knowing the true motives of its leaders, and the reasonable and unreasonable extent of their ambitions. But when they failed to convince us of their good intentions, we were fully convinced that controlling the country's coasts, its islands, and its economic resources such as oil and gas sources, was to leave the vast majority of people starving; It is not a sign of humanity in any form.

Moreover, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, having entered the war, were unable to get rid of the culture of arrogance and contempt, so their practices appeared in that vulgar and cheap way. They worked to contend with the internationally recognized government's interests, and from the first day they sought to end the symbolism of its presence, and to empower new militias from the areas they controlled. They saw in the battle a rare opportunity to undermine the general structure of the system, and to bring chaos. While the UAE imposes an immoral system that prevents Yemenis from entering its lands, we see it operating tourist flights to the island of Socotra, and trying to defraud the logic of geography and history, to make a demographic change, to satisfy the greed of its leaders.

In between all of this, the tampering with the Yemeni political environment, the marginalization of the role of parties and civil society organizations - along with state institutions - and the establishment of a form of Bedouin regimes, which would only take care of the interests of the coalition countries, without considering the aspired national interest, until we reached the moment when we see the Yemeni decision to be completely usurped.

In the face of the confusion of the Saudi and Emirati leaders, Iran, too, saw an opportunity to wade through the mud, with a no less destructive contribution to the manufacturing of a devastated country. Although the latter is credited with one unsuccessful attempt to provide Yemenis with drinking mineral water bottles, its determination was clear to bring in shipments of weapons and their spare parts, a victory for its influence and unique ability to destroy and create pre-state forces.

Everyone was alike in torturing and oppressing Yemenis. And they are all responsible for these lean years of hunger, disease and fighting. But - while condemning the targeting of civilian interests - this occasion comes with a sermon, as we saw yesterday. It is a time to talk that more war, recklessness, and miscalculation will destabilize areas that were safe before these years. The Yemeni leaders, who have accepted themselves as clowns in the hands of these shepherds, are equally reprehensible and even condemned, if they did not accept this shameful role for themselves, and sit with each other, and listen carefully to the lesson of the war.

They should have realized early that no solutions come from outside. Now that we have reached this complexity, there is an opportunity for these countries of influence, a real opportunity to arbitrate the language of reason, sit at the table, and put pressure on Yemeni officials in this crisis, to force them to put an end to the suffering of civilians who have power in this war in any way.
